"Armenia's failure to provide a map of mined areas slows down post-conflict rehabilitation," said Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov while his speech at the 28th meeting of the Council of OSCE Foreign Ministers in Stockholm, APA reports.

Mr. Bayramov emphasized that Armenia did not keep its obligations and submit maps of the mined territories of Azerbaijan, so there is a need for additional pressure.

"Armenia did not provide agreed maps of all mined areas. This slows down post-conflict rehabilitation and construction work in the liberated territories and creates a serious barrier to the safe return of refugees and internally displaced persons to these territories. Azerbaijan is currently one of the most massively mined countries in the world. After the signing of the trilateral statement, as a result of the explosions of mines laid by Armenia, 180 Azerbaijani citizens were killed or seriously injured, of which 71 were civilians. Among them are journalists and media workers. It is necessary to put additional pressure on Armenia to provide maps of mined territories in accordance with all the agreed obligations arising from international humanitarian law," said Jeyhun Bayramov.
