"Armenians committed great atrocities here. They destroyed everywhere. These actions are inhumane and unfair," said Director of Middle Eastern Studies Center (ORSAM) Ahmet Uysal, who is on a visit to Aghdam, APA reports.
"Today, we are witnessing reconstruction works here. Schools and roads are repaired, and areas are cleared of mines, which makes us happy. They kept animals in the Aghdam mosque during the occupation. The animal smells still lingered when we first visited here. at present, repair and restoration works are underway. This place has the potential to become a tourist center in the future. There are people from Turkiye who want to come here," Ahmet Uysal said.
