“Changing the name of the organization at the latest Istanbul Summit is a historical step and this significantly creates responsibility. Acting equally we should respond to necessary needs of our Kazakh brothers,” said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu in his speech at the extraordinary meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States.

He noted that the “Turkish World 2040 Vision” document approved within the framework of the Istanbul Summit contains the necessary unity and solidarity in internal and external tests: "Within the framework of this, we have to accelerate our steps in the direction of political and economic direction as an organization".

According to the Turkish FM, the main condition for development is stability and security. The minister has made a call in connection with turning cooperation between security and intelligence agencies within the organization into a more regular and institutional structure.
