"We condemn the armed attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran this morning. We wish God's mercy to the employees of the embassy who lost their lives in this attack and speedy recovery to those wounded during the attack," the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement, APA's Istanbul correspondent report.
It was noted that Turkiye, subjected to similar attacks in the past, deeply understands and shares the pain of the Azerbaijani people.
"All necessary measures should be taken to find those responsible for this despicable attack immediately and brought to justice to prevent such cases from happening again. . Brotherly Azerbaijan is never alone. Our support to Azerbaijan will continue without interruption, as always," the statement emphasized.
