Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with the employees of the Foundation, who took the humanitarian aid to brotherly Türkiye under the instruction of Mehriban Aliyeva, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, First Lady of Azerbaijan, in the Gaziantep airport, APA reports.
Elvin Aslanov delivering the condolence of the President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva in connection with the tragedy said that these days all the people of Azerbaijan, and all organizations of the country are mobilized for the sake of providing the necessary assistance to the brotherly country.
Expressing his gratitude for the Azerbaijani state and its people for mobilizing regarding the tragedy in Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said: “I deeply thank my brother Ilham and my sister Mehriban on behalf of myself and my nation!”
Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he was aware of the participation of the Azerbaijani people in the humanitarian aid for the earthquake victims and the aid to be sent, as Türkiye was with Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War, and now Azerbaijan is with Türkiye in such a difficult time. "I express my gratitude on behalf of myself, my family, and our people. We will be together not only today but until we die. We will continue as one nation, two states!"
