"Justice and security, which international institutions could no longer provide, have been provided, a bleeding wound in the Caucasus has been closed, and an opportunity for lasting peace has arisen in the region," said Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagchi, who spoke on the Republic Day of Türkiye, APA reports.
The ambassador said that not only the countries of the region, but the whole world will benefit from this peace and stability: "We believe that stability and security are very important for our region, our country, and our neighbors."
The ambassador noted that Türkiye stands by Azerbaijan in the restoration and construction of Karabakh after liberating its lands from occupation, as in its just cause: "Türkiye is the leading country in every field with all its capabilities. Türkiye and Azerbaijan are the first bridge to Europe and Asia. His brotherhood, which has no place in the international world, is unshakable. The future of Azerbaijan is our future, its joy is our joy, and its sadness is our sadness."
