Türkiye warns official Yerevan on demolition of Nemesis Monument: We will take new steps

Türkiye made concessions in the normalization process with Armenia, said Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.

According to him, Ankara took these steps to contribute to the Azerbaijani-Armenian normalization process: “However, they have once again shown that they are not sincere… We can not accept the erection of a statue ("Nemesis" - ed.) to those who killed our Ottoman pashas and our Azerbaijani brothers.”

The minister added that Turkish side has warned the official Yerevan on the demolition of the monument and it will take new steps against Armenia on this issue.
