“We express gratitude for sending military support to us. However, we need more weapons, and military aid,” said Ukraine’s former First Lady Kateryna Yushchenko at the press conference held on the 9th Global Baku Forum, APA reports.
According to her, it is an issue of existence, and living:
“We know what will be the results if to give up an inch of land. The people will be killed there. We should convince the world that we need military support.”
She noted that this illegal war threatens food security and the global order.
“We want a weapon. We know that sending weapons will take time. However, it should be done fast.”
Ukraine’s Former First lady has also thanked Azerbaijan:
“On behalf of the Ukrainian people I express gratitude to the Azerbaijani government, and people for supporting us. We highly appreciate the humanitarian aid provided to Ukraine by you. Our government, people, and media are aware of Azerbaijan’s resolute support and appreciate it.”
