Ukrainian television prepared a reportage about the peaceful protest action of Azerbaijani eco-activists on the Lachin road, APA reports.
The opinion of Volodymyr Kreidenko, People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine inter-parliamentary friendship group were aired on "Pryamoy Kanal" television channel.
It was reported that Azerbaijani eco-activists have started peaceful action on the road passing through Shusha city of Karabakh region of Azerbaijan since December 12 of last year.
It was recalled that people protests the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the territory belonging to Azerbaijan but under the temporary control of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. The participants of the peaceful protest action do not obstruct the movement of vehicles and do not commit any illegal actions, but the Armenian side accuses them of creating hunger and humanitarian disaster for the Armenians living in Karabakh.
A social experiment was conducted to reveal the truth. Thus, food was ordered from restaurants in the city of Khankendi, Karabakh. There have been no complaints from restaurants that there are any problems with the delivery of orders.
Kreidenko emphasized that there is no humanitarian disaster: "We can see from the social experiment that was carried out in Karabakh and is currently being distributed on YouTube channels that activists order food and they do not face any problems, which shows that there is no humanitarian disaster there."
It was emphasized that the claims made regarding applying restrictions on the activity of catering establishments in the region dut to the alleged food shortage and energy saving are also false. The video shot during the social experiment shows that local catering establishments in the city of Khankandi offer a wide range of dishes for every taste and operate without restrictions on time and number of visitors. On the other hand, the whole world can now observe a real humanitarian catastrophe in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, which Russia itself organized.
The politician also spoke about the humanitarian disaster in his country: "In Ukraine, We see a large number of deaths, humanitarian disaster, destroyed houses, infrastructure in Ukraine, and all this is the result of Russia's entering and controlling the territory of an independent country."
