“We consider the Baku conference commendable in strengthening interparliamentary relations,” said Vanessa Yunes Montero Lopez, Vice President of the National Assembly of Venezuela at the Baku conference of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), APA reports.
According to her, Venezuela wants to deepen cooperation and relations with all members of the Non-Aligned Movement: “Venezuela supports the multipolar world. We should jointly work for a more humanist world, a world where everyone’s welfare is ensured. We are against unilateral sanctions by the USA. These sanctions have not shaken the territorial integrity of our people. An economic recovery program was adopted in our country, the government works for the welfare of our people.”
