"It is our second visit. We came earlier in 2021. At that time, we came to determine and report on violations of international law and human rights on the territory of Azerbaijan, that is, in Karabakh, by the Armenian invaders during the 30-year occupation period," Haji Ali Açıkgül, deputy chairman of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation IPHRC), told APA's Karabakh Bureau.
He said that now they can hear the joyous sounds of people returning to their homeland after 30 years: "I came to Agdam in 2021. I was horrified by what I saw there. Now we are in the city of Fuzuli. On this trip, I am witnessing the terrible scenes of the Armenians in Karabakh during the 30-year occupation. Azerbaijan needs help to restore these places. I believe that all Islamic countries will extend a friendly hand , they will rebuild the villages and cities destroyed by the Armenians in 30 years".
