“We agreed to open a new chapter on Iran-Azerbaijan relations,” Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahian wrote on Twitter on the finals of his visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports.
“During an official visit to Baku, we agreed to open a new chapter. In a cordial meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and my discussions with Azerbaijani FM Jeyhun Bayramov and Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker, we charted a roadmap to further enhance ties. I had the pleasure to meet Iranians who live there. We continue to prioritize neighbors,” the tweet reads.
