"Thank you for being with us on the day of the adoption of the Constitution on May 3" the Ambassador of Poland to Azerbaijan Rafał Poborski said during his speech at the event held on the occasion of May 3 Constitution Day, APA reports.
Talking about the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Poland, the ambassador particularly mentioned the Bilateral Intergovernmental Commission held in Baku in February.
"We are trying to expand the fields of Polish-Azerbaijani cooperation. Azerbaijan is an important political partner in the South Caucasus. Especially, the end of the conflict with Armenia adds even more strength to this power." Rafał Poborski said.
The ambassador once again emphasized that they are on the side of Ukraine in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
"We have been with Ukraine for more than a year. We are trying to protect the freedom of Ukraine from the Russian invaders. We support Ukraine and its army by giving shelter to Ukrainian refugees." he stressed.
