“It is not so important to hear those who were never mediators in the settlement, who have not added value to the process, who have not achieved practical results. What is important is to hear Baku and Yerevan,” said the official representative of Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova while commenting on the statement of Markus Ritter, the head of the mission of the European Union in Armenia, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to her, it is necessary to hear, and listen to the two countries, and act in their interest: “Yes, we understand well that both sides have different, sometimes diametrically opposite positions. Despite this, we note the things that the sides might agree on. The main thing is to create the appropriate atmosphere for them on the basis of the appropriate agreement.”
