President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on awarding military servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan the Medal for "Liberation of Gubadli" on December 29, APA reports.
The order reads that 9376 servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan who demonstrated personal courage and bravery by participating in the combat operations for the liberation of the Gubadli region were awarded the medal for "Liberation of Gubadli".
2 of the servicemen awarded this medal are lieutenant generals, 3 are major generals and 21 are colonels.
