“Azerbaijan’s Terter, Aghdam, Goranboy, Aghjabadi districts were shelled using heavy artillery ad small weapons by Armenian armed forces after meeting, held with mediation of OSCE Minsk Group Co-chairs”, said Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, APA reports.
He noted that today, from 06:00 to 12:00, the Armenian armed forces shelled more than 300 shells at 32 human settlements, including 6 settlements and 26 villages over these regions.
“Unfortunately, we should note that Terter is one of the European cities, at which most bombs and rockets were shelled after the World War II. More than 15 000 projectiles and rockets were shelled at Terter from September 27 until today.”
H. Hajiyev noted that Armenia, of which propaganda on the mercenaries has failed, invents new disinformation on white phosphorus: “Armenia using white phosphorus projectiles tries to make Azerbaijan responsible for it.
It was determined that the projectile shelled at Arayapili village of Fuzuli district by Armenian armed forces on October 8 to be phosphorus and neutralized by the ANAMA. The fact was documented by the ANAMA.
A white phosphorus projectile was shelled at Askipara village of Terter district by Armenia at the battles of April of 2016. The projectile, which hit a cropping field, was neutralized by military attaches and an OSCE representative.
There is information on bringing large amount of phosphorus to the direction of Khojavand by Armenian armed forces in order to commit an ecological terror in the form of a forest fire and use against Azerbaijani armed forces currently.”
