Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures on payment of damage to civilians as a result of Armenian aggression at the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan since September 27, 2020, APA reports.
The order reads:
"The work is being carried out without delay by the State Commission established by the Order signed by the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed On November 6, 2020, ‘On measures of assessing and eliminating damage caused to the civilians, state property, including infrastructure facilities, as well as business entities as a result of the aggression of the Armenian Armed Forces against Azerbaijan that began on September 27, 2020’.
Relevant proposals are being prepared to eliminate the damage caused to the civilian population, state property, including infrastructure facilities, as well as business entities at the expense of state funds.
Guided by paragraph 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to ensure the necessary social needs of the affected civilian population at the initial stage and to eliminate the damage to their household and personal belongings I make a decision:
1. to pay the following financial assistance in connection with the damage caused to the property of the civilian population as a result of the aggression of the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan since September 27, 2020;
1.1 6000 (six thousand) manats for each family in connection with the damage to household items in the destroyed or damaged houses, 1500 (one thousand five hundred) manats to each family member in connection with the damage to personal belongings;
1.2. in the amount of 1000 (one thousand) manats per family for other damaged houses;
2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijani Republic to organize financing according to part 1 of this Order.
3. Relevant local executive authorities shall ensure the payment of financial assistance provided for in part 1 of this Order to the owners of residential houses or their legal representatives through a bank"
