Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry demonstrated moment of preparing the rocket systems, which is neutralized to strike Azerbaijan from the territory of Armenia

“On October 12, rocket blow was inflicted on the cities of Mingachevir and Ganja from the territory of Armenia. If yesterday those rocket complexes had not been destroyed, these rockets could have reached to Baku too, even if had passed to Garabagh, its distance could have exceeded Baku,” said Deputy Commander of the Air Force, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Major General Ikram Aliyev at the briefing held for ambassadors of foreign countries, representatives of foreign military attachés accredited in the Republic of Azerbaijan and international organizations (UN, EU, ICRC) in our country today, APA reports.

Major General Ikram Aliyev noted that as a result of special operation against ballistic missiles on October 12, one Tochka-U missile was destroyed in the territory of Gubadli region: “On October 14, at 1 a.m. 2 Elbrus missile complexes, at 08;30 a.m. one Elbrus missile complex was revealed and destroyed by Azerbaijani Army. If the Elbrus missile with a range of 300 km had brought to Nagorno-Karabakh, it has a range of 300 km and would have reached Baku. According to the information we obtained from intelligence, there are no such missiles in the military units in Nagorno-Karabakh. It is in the composition of the 71st missile regiment of Armenia. The regiment is dislocated in the Stepanavan city of Armenia.”

Air Defence Force Headquarters showed footage of the moment the missiles were being prepared for shelling.
