"Attacks on civilians, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or religion, are wrong and unacceptable. Every victim's life is precious. No one should be under such conditions, no one should lose loved ones, friends, neighbors while sleeping peacefully at night," said George Deek, Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan, who visited Ganja city today, APA's local bureau reports.

Diplomat Mr. Deek emphasized that Israel's relations with Azerbaijan are friendly and have deep historical roots: "This friendship has not been directed against anybody. We highly appreciate friendship relations with Azerbaijan. As evidence of this friendship, I have come here today. We have brought humanitarian assistance to the victims so that they can find some comfort in these difficult times. I came to Ganja to see terrible destruction occurred as a result of attacks. I came here to extend condolences to the Azerbaijani people, the residents of Ganja city, the families of the victims. I wish all the injured ones a speedy recovery. I have to get acquainted with some victims today. I will get acquainted with others later. The stories of some of them are really very sad. We as the Israelites know very well the terrible consequences of war and attacks. Especially when these attacks directed to civilians."
