“At 02:00 a.m by the instruction of military-political leadership of Armenia, a serious crime, terrorism act have been committed again against state of Azerbaijan,” said Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev at the press conference held in ganja today, APA reports.
He noted that by the instruction of military-political leadership of Armenia city of Ganja which not belonging to the war zone, 100 km from the combat zone, with a population of half a million has come under rocket fire.
“According to current information, 9 civilians were killed, more than 30 were injured, as well as civilian facilities and buildings were damaged. Specialists are currently clarifying. As the Prosecutor General, I have launched a criminal case on war crimes and terrorist acts under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.Investigation is underway at the scene. As a Prosecutor General, I assure you that using all the necessary international and domestic law, we will ensure that the military-political leadership of Armenia is brought to justice for the horrible crimes against humanity and humankind.”
