"Enemy positions, which suffered heavy losses as a result of the operations, refused to enter the battle," Anar Eyvazov, spokesman for the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan told at the briefing today, APA reports
Mr. Eyvazov said that the villages of Fuzuli, Khojavend, Jabrayil, and Zangilan, as well as the city of Zangilan, were liberated from the occupation: "The information spread by the Armenian Defense Ministry that the fighting is allegedly conducting in the direction of Khudafarin is nothing but nonsense. The Armenian Army is not capable to conduct an operation in the direction of Khudafar."
Spokesman for the Defense Ministry emphasized that the goal of the Azerbaijani Army is to destroy legitimate targets with accurate fire.
