The chief of Azerbaijan Committee of against Tortures Elchin Behbudov reviewed Bayil Detention Place â„–1, Behbudov told the APA. He visited the Detention Place on the appeal of two prisoners.
“Barda resident Allahyar Xalilov and Masalli resident Gulbala Aliyev wanted me to meet with them. They were satisfied with the detention conditions. They complained of undergoing tortures in the region’s police stations and not being provided with lawyer�, he said.
Behbudov said that he would appeal to Interior Minister Ramil Usubov on the both of the facts. /APA/
