3 Pakistani citizens, tried to cross from Azerbaijan to Russia, were detained

On November 26 at 3:00 p.m., 3 (three) citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan who attempted to cross the state border from the Republic of Azerbaijan in the direction of the Russian Federation in the service area of the border outpost located near Samurchay village of Khachmaz district of the "Khudat" border detachment of the State Border Service were detained, the Press Service of the State Border Service told APA.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the detained people officially came to the country, then intended to migrate from the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Russian Federation, and from there to one of the European countries by violating the state border.

According to this fact, operational-investigative measures are being continued in the direction of detecting and neutralizing the channel of illegal migration.
