397 people recognized as affected persons regarding Tartar case in Azerbaijan

“The number of affected people due to Tartar case unveiled,” APA reports citing the press service of Prosecutor General Office.

It was noted that during the past period, 280 new persons who were subjected to torture and other illegal acts were identified, and recognized as a victim, they were fully interrogated and forensic medical examinations were provided: “So, a total of 397 victims have been identified so far in criminal cases, including those identified as affected persons during the previous investigation into torture.

Measures are underway to identify and interrogate the victims of the case, as well as servicemen who committed illegal acts.”
