Azerbaijan detains Iranian citizen smuggling drugs to country by flying device -VIDEO

As a result of the joint operation conducted by the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Border Service (SBS) of Azerbaijan, Iranian citizen Farhadi Hossein Gulamohamed was detained on suspicion of smuggling 35 kilograms of dried marijuana enriched with psychotropic substances, methamphetamine and 360 methadone pills with psychotropic substances into the territory of Azerbaijan, MIA told APA.

According to information, a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran Farhadi Hosein said he delivered the drugs to Fuzuli district located in the border region. The detained person tried to transfer the drugs through a motoparaplan (fyling device) specially designed for this purpose. A criminal case has been initiated, a pretrial detention measure was chosen for the detained person, and operational-investigative measures are underway.
