The smuggling of drugs from Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan in the southern direction of the Caspian Sea was prevented.
A bag tied to an industrially made anchor 12 miles from the coast was discovered by a Coastal Guard patrol vessel in the territorial waters of the Republic of Azerbaijan of the Caspian Sea.
During the inspection of the bag, narcotic drug "marijuana" with a total weight of 6 kilograms and 630 grams was found and taken away.
The operative-investigative measure on the fact is being continued.
