"Wildfires continue in Mugla Province of the Republic of Turkiye now. In accordance with an instruction of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, BE-200CS amphibious aircraft belonging to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) with a crew of 10 people departs for Dalaman Airport of Mugla Province of the Republic of Turkiye to participate in extinguishing fires," Head of Aviation Service of the MES, Major-General Ashraf Gasimov told journalists at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, APA reports.

According to A. Gasimov, the aircraft will participate in extinguishing wildfires in Turkiye from today: "As you know, we participated in extinguishing wildfires in brotherly Turkiye last year. Amphibious aircraft are effective in extinguishing fires. It has a volume of about 12 tonnes of water in 18-20 seconds without standing on the water"
