MP Fazil Mustafa was injured today in the evening as a result of a gun shot in front of his house in the Baku’s Sabunchi district. Law enforcement agencies started a criminal investigation, Milli Majilis told APA.
According to TABIB, Fazil Mustafa was diagnosed with a gunshot wound in the right shoulder and the upper portion of the right thigh, and medical services are now being provided.
His condition is assessed as stable and his life is not in danger.
Note that Speaker of the Milli Majlis, Sahiba Gafarova, who is currently on a working visit in New York to attend the high-level meeting at the UN General Assembly, contacted Fazil Mustafa's family and inquired about his condition.
