Azerbaijani rescuers removed bodies of 147 people from rubble in earthquake area of Türkiye

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan continue search-rescue operation in Kahramanmarash city of Türkiye in order to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake, said Turgay Abbasli, chief adviser of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, APA's correspondent to Turkiye Saljuq Elchin reports.

He said that 725 personnel were involved in the area by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"41 of the staff are medical personnel. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are carrying out search and rescue operations in the city of Kahramanmaras for several days now. They have removed 37 people alive under the rubble, including 8 children, and 147 bodies".
