Azerbaijan’s MES: Demining process in liberated territories from occupation rapidly continue

“Clearing of liberated territories from the occupation from mines and unexploded ordnance is our one of the main duties,” said Deputy Chief of the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Major General Maharram Hasanov, APA reports.

He noted that demining process rapidly continues: “Employees of our newly established battalion are working there. From January of 2021, up today our agencies participated in demining of large areas in the direction of Agdam and Fuzuli. Currently these works are underway. Joint reciprocal works with other agencies are conducted and regulated.”
