Under the instruction of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the agile rescue forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Turkey are continuing the search and rescue operations without interruption, eliminating the consequences of the strong earthquake that struck the fraternal country, APA reports.
As a result of the search and rescue operations carried out by the MES rescuers in the Kahramanmaraş region, which was seriously damaged by the earthquake, 26 people, including 5 children, were rescued under the rubble, and the dead bodies of 47 people were pulled out and handed over to the authorities.
Notably, specially trained rescue dogs of the MES are also dispatched in the operations.
