Azerbaijan's MES rescuers saved one more person under the rubble in Kahramanmaraş-PHOTO-UPDATED

The rescuers of Azerbaijan's MES are continuing search and rescue operations in the Kahramanmaraş district of Turkiye which was seriously damaged by the earthquake, APA'a correspondent sent to disaster area reports.

Rescuers, who started operations this morning, have pulled out the dead body of one more person under the rubble.

Currently, the Internet has been cut off in Kahramanmaraş, and the electricity and natural gas supply has been suspended.

Besides, food shortage is also observed in the earthquake region.

So far, the rescuers who started operations this morning have pulled out the dead bodies of 5 people under the rubble.

Besides, another person was rescued from the rubble and handed over to the relevant structures.

Note that a 7.4-magnitude earthquake was recorded in central Türkiye on Monday. The quake’s epicenter was located 26 km away from the city of Gaziantep, with a population of about 1.06 million. The source of the earthquake was 7 km below the surface.
