Criminal case launched in connection with death of the serviceman, and the soldier was arrested

The individual suspected of killing a fellow soldier in the Azerbaijan Army was arrested, the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.

According to the report, in connection with the fact that Mirzoyev Elmar Elchin oghlu, overtime military serviceman of the Azerbaijan Army, died as a result of a fire from an automatic weapon, in the Aghdam military prosecutor's office, a criminal case under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code was launched.

The investigation established reasonable suspicions that the crime was committed by the soldier Rzayev Bahruz Subhan oghlu, an overtime military serviceman.

Bahruz Rzayev was arrested as a suspect and brought under investigation.
