The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan has issued a statement on the fire in Baku, APA reports.
On May 17, 2022, at about 10 pm, a fire broke out in a three-story residential building located at 62 Chingiz Mustafayev Street in the Yasamal district of Baku.
Representatives of the prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other relevant agencies are currently at the scene.
Necessary investigative actions are being carried out by investigators and criminologists of the prosecutor's office.
According to preliminary information, Elen Abdulabeyova, born in 1948, living on the second floor of the building, died as a result of the incident.
