Fire in the territory of Razdara village of Zangilan district was extinguished thanks to the necessary and urgent measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations without allowing it to spread to a wider area, the MES told APA.
In accordance with the initial information, as a result of the fire, shrubs, dry grass, and sparse trees burned in an area of about 60 hectares. Nearby territories were protected from the fire.
Forces of State Fire Protection Service of the MES, employees of the State Border Service, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have attended the fire fighting measures.

It has been determined while assessing the operational condition in the site that the fire broke out in a wooded area consisting of dry grass and bushes
As a result of taken operative and emergent measures, the fire has been localized. Measures in the direction of full extinguishing the fire are underway.
