Investigations have been launched in connection with the explosion in the recreation center in Sumgayit city, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.
The incident took place in the boiler room of the "Sunset" recreation center on Sahil Street, Corat-Novkhani road, Sumgait city. As a result, three people were injured.
According to the information given to APA by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, relevant forces of the Ministry were immediately involved in the incident.
It was determined that according to preliminary information, a sudden explosion occurred in the water heater (combi) system of the recreation center, and as a result, 3 people were injured. No incidents of destruction and fire were recorded.
Appropriate security measures were taken by MES forces.
