Members of organized group bringing large quantities of drugs to Azerbaijan from Iran by boat detained-VIDEO

Members of an organized group that smuggled drugs to Azerbaijan from the Iranian shores of the Caspian Sea were detained, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.

In order to detain the main members of the organized group that smuggled drugs from the Iranian shores of the Caspian Sea to the country by boat, the employees of the General Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out a special operation-search measure.

Thus, as a result of the measure held by the employees of the General Administration in the area called Yashma Gardens of Sumgayit city, previously convicted persons - Elshad Aliyev and Zakir Nagiyev, were detained for organizing the illegal circulation of drugs.
