Two people extradited from Russia to Azerbaijan

Two people were extradited from Russia to Azerbaijan, APA reports citing the press service of the Prosecutor’s General Office.

At the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office decided to extradite Azerbaijani citizens Gunduz Hasanli and Elnur Shahsuvarov in accordance with the Convention on Legal Aid and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases, adopted in Minsk on 22 January 1993 (The Minsk Convention).

On June 24, 2022, Gunduz Hasanli and Elnur Shahsuvarov were brought from Russian Federation to Azerbaijan, accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
