Azerbaijan Airlines to halve TU aircrafts in two years

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Airlines (AzAL) is going to write off 4 Tupolev aircrafts in two years, said the airline.
They will be 2 TU-134 twin-engined airliners and two TU-154 medium-range trijet airlines.
They will be replaced by Boeing and ATR aircrafts.
Boeing 737-900ER will be delivered to Azerbaijan early next year.
AzAL was established as an international carrier in 1991. It has 8 TU-154 and 2 TU-134 aircrafts left.
