Azerbaijan starts to make Kur laptops

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s computer maker Kur LLC has launched production of laptops for the first time ever.
Mahmud Jalilov, officer of Baku Office of the Company, said Kur laptops will feature touch-screen monitors that may be rotated 180 degree.
The selling prices of 10†notebooks will be AZN 1 200 to AZN 1 600.
The first laptop is expected to come off the assembly line in late September. Most of the finished products will be exported.
Kur Factory was established by Sinam Company and Communications and Information Technologies Ministry in 2005.
The capacity of Mingechevir-based factory is 140 computers a day.
