Five and three-door Hyundai i20s to be imported to Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Hyundaiâ€™s replacement for the Getz hatchback, the upcoming i20, has been spotted testing ahead of its market launch expected to fall early next year. The new hatch will be available initially as a five-door and will be joined by the sportier three-door variant, seen here, roughly six months after the initial debut.
The engine lineup is expected to feature two petrol units, both four-cylinder designs and displacing 1.2 and 1.4L respectively. Power levels should range between 80hp (60kW) and 110hp (82kW). A 1.5L common-rail turbodiesel engine, also with 110hp (82kW), will also likely join the new lineup.
Expect to see the car appear in full production trim at the Paris Motor Show in October before going on sale in Europe early next year.
Hyundai Auto Azerbaijan, the official dealer of South Korean Hyundai automaker in Azerbaijan, plans to import these models to the country late this year.
The company said this model will replace the Getz which is nearing the end of its life-cycle and has been available in the European market since 2002.
â€œThis selling price will be AZN 13 500 to AZN 15 000. Hyundai i20s will be available in Azerbaijan after December,â€ said the company.
Hyundai Auto Azerbaijan has been in operation since 1996.
