100 units of “London taxis” running on electricity to be brought in Azerbaijan

“1500 units of “London taxis” are operated in Azerbaijan’, said Ramin Guluzade, Minister of Transport, Communication and High Technologies while being at the office of President Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

“There are 1200 units of “London taxis” under control of our Ministry. According to your task, we have ordered 100 units of new “London taxis” complying with the up-to-date standards”, the Minister added.

According to the Minister, the advantage of these taxis which would be brought in Azerbaijan within three months was that they were running not on fuel but on electricity: “I would like to note once again that these taxis fully comply with the up-to-date standards”.
