14 citizens of Kazakhstan dispatched from Baku Port to their country

Due to closure of borders for passengers because of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, another 14 citizens of Kazakhstan stranded in Azerbaijan and 11 Azerbaijani citizens and 1 Russian citizen having the right to live in Kazakhstan have been dispatched to that country today, the Baku Port told “APA-Economics”.

The citizens dispatched by Professor Gul ferry boat of Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping Company, as usually, passed firstly the test against the virus associated with COVID-19 pandemic at the Baku Port, and all passengers tested negative for the coronavirus.

Remind that from May 13 of the current year, the new rules of crossing border during period of quarantine have entered into force in Kazakhstan, and therefore the Kuryk port has resumed admission of citizens of Kazakhstan and the foreign citizens who have permission to live in Kazakhstan. And during the recent 2 months, a total of 109 citizens of Kazakhstan and 67 citizens of foreign countries were dispatched from the Baku Port.
