AZN 5 mln allocated for reconstruction measures in Absheron main canal

President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on additional measures for the reconstruction of the Absheron main canal and increase its ability to discharge water, APA reports.

For implementing reconstruction works in Absheron main canal in order to improve the quality of irrigation of lands suitable for agricultural use on the Absheron Peninsula amount of AZN 5 mln specified in subparagraph 1.67 “Distribution of funds provided for in the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019 for state investments ( investment expenses) for other projects ”, approved by order No. 890 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 15, 2019 has been allocated to Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management.
