“The issue of protecting jobs and employment is the focus of government attention, and the rights and social protection of workers will be ensured,” said Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov, APA reports.
Addressing employers, M. Jabbarov urged them not to allow reduction or dismissal of employees against the background of temporary difficulties, to adhere to the principles of social responsibility: "Otherwise, the government will take serious measures against these entrepreneurs."
The Minister of Economy noted the absence of any difficulties in providing the country with everyday goods, said that the government worked closely with large suppliers, formed the necessary reserves for the country's needs, and provided the domestic market with the necessary products.
