Azerbaijan and Turkey sign agreement on railway

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC and Turkey State Railways have signed an agreement on mutual use of wagons on the basis of exchange, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC told APA.

The agreement specifies international rules and documents of carriage, rules for loading wagons, usage fees and obligations for compensation for use.

Instruction and compensations for the goods, carried in the wagon, considering remarks on the full or partial loss, destruction, and damage of the luggage, carried in wagon and containers, as well as compensation of the damage are regulated in accordance with the agreement.

An agreement has also been reached between sides on the supply of spare parts, damage of wagons and relevant instructions, and regulated compensation for damaged and lost wagons.
