Pilot of J2-9103 aircraft of Buta Airways en route Baku-Istanbul has decided to have a landing at Ankara Airport as flights in and out have been halted due to incident in Sabiha Gokcen Airport of Istanbul, APA-Economis reports citing Buta Airways.

The aircraft successfully landed at Esenboga Airport at 10:57 a.m. to local time.

“It is expected aircraft staff will prepare for flight to Istanbul after getting permission from Sabiha Gokcen Airport. The news will be updated when information is obtained from Istanbul Airport”, noted in the information of the company.

Note that all flights in and out of Istanbul's Sabiha Gokcen Airport were halted temporarily on Tuesday after a Pegasus Boeing 737 airplane skidded off a runway. The airplane was arriving from United Arab Emirates' Sharjah as it slid off the runway while landing.
