Bitcoin Embassy to be opened in Azerbaijan this year

Bitcoin Embassy will be opened at the end of the first half of this year in Azerbaijan, the head of the project Sabina Mammadli stated in an answer to a query of APA-Economics.

According to her, the discussions on the opening of the embassy will be started in April: “An agreement on the implementation of the project firstly will be signed with Georgia and Ukraine. I consider that after the discussions to be held in April, Bitcoin embassy may be opened during 2 months in Azerbaijan. As Georgian side has already expressed their readiness to sign an agreement with us. The opening of Bitcoin embassy will create an opportunity to support the projects on cryptocurrencies in Azerbaijan.
