The volume of transported cargos in Azerbaijani part of Transport Corridor Europe Caucasus Asia (TRACECA) was 38 491,4 thousand tones last year, which is 27% less in comparison to the indicator of 2019, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
20 656,4 thousand tones or 53,7% of cargos were transported via motor transport, 12 820,2 thousand tones or 33,3% through railway transport, 5 014,8 thousand tones or 13% via sea transport.
According to the information, 21,8% or 8 382,1 thousand tones cargo transported through the corridor made up transit cargos.
