Today, the ceremony of laying foundation of the "Center for overhaul and servicing of helicopters" was held at "Zabrat" airport, "APA-Economics" reports.
The new "Center for overhaul and servicing of helicopters" will be built in the framework of joint projects based on decisions of interstate governmental commission of Azerbaijan and Russian Federation in the area of economic cooperation associated with development of civil aviation and will be the only enterprise of this kind in the region.
The project will be implemented together with "Russian Helicopters" OJSC.
The relevant agreement has been signed by Jahangir Askerov, President of “Azerbaijani Airlines” CJSC (AZAL) and Andrey Boginskiy, General Director of "Russian Helicopters" OJSC.
